Description / Varnish Matt 003 Spray Can 400 ml - For Oil Colour
Purpose: Permanent protection of an oil painting (final varnish). Composition: Synthetic resin, matting agents (silicas), odourless white spirit Qualities: • Gives a silky sheen • Apply when the paint layer is completely dry (at least 6 months) • Does not yellow • Dries within a few hours • Dry varnish layers can be removed with white spirit • Extremely flammable
Cobra Varnish is produced for use with Cobra Artist Watermixable Oil. It can also be used over conventional oil colour and acrylic. Unlike other varnishes it is odourless. The main benefit to using varnish is that it gives final permanent protection.
This varnish dries within a few hours and is to be used once an oil painting is completely dry (after a period of at least 6 months).
